During the month of October from Bulgaria and from our Youth house, the volunteer Laura from Italy departed. Shortly afterwards in November he left and Goisder, our volunteer from France. And let’s face it… We miss them. Not only because Laura and ghoz were beautiful girls and because there are no young people from the youth House who spent more than nine months together, and because they did a lot of useful work, we would like to remember some of the more important and interesting activities that our volunteers took part in! Here are just some of them: the preparation and implementation of the International festival ‘ Dancing River ‘, the preparation of the Rousse Carnival, the festival “Music and Colors”, the Youth Day, the initiative “to clean the Btlgaria” in the welcoming, training and stay of short-term volunteers, as well as in the activities of other organizations with whom we are partners, such as the Red Cross and Day Center “mercy” where they helped with all their heart in various daily activities and causes. That’s why we miss…. as we missed last year Mario and Asef. Just as we lack all the volunteers we welcomed and sent within the project “Step Up in your life”. With his departure, Laura and Gozeder set the end and the activities of the volunteer project “Step Up in Your life”, funded by the Erasmus + programme from the Centre for Human Resource Development. On this project Rousse hosted 38 short-term and 4 long-term volunteers from Italy, France, Slovakia, Azerbayjan, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Egypt. We are glad to have been part of a project that has regained good traditions in building a participatory civil society.
